Sentinel Dual SDU

Simplified installation

  • Can be installed on the floor (tower version) or in a cabinet (rack version). The display panel can be rotated (using the key supplied);
  • Low noise level (<48 dBA): for installation in any environment, thanks to its high-frequency switching inverter and PWM ventilation with digital control depending on the load applied;
  • Can be connected via external maintenance bypass with uninterrupted switching;
  • Characteristics guaranteed up to 40°C (components are designed for high temperatures and therefore undergo less stress at ordinary temperatures);
  • Integrated IEC-type output sockets with thermal protection.

Operating mode selection

  • The functions can be programmed using software or configured manually using the front screen.
  • ON LINE: efficiency up to 95% ;
  • ECO mode: to increase efficiency (up to 98%), LINE INTERACTIVE (VI) technology can be selected to supply less sensitive loads from the mains;
  • SMART ACTIVE: the UPS autonomously decides the operating mode (VI or VFI) according to the quality of the mains supply.
  • STANDBY OFF: the UPS can be selected to operate only in the event of a mains failure (emergency mode only);
  • Frequency converter operation (50 or 60 Hz).

High quality of output voltage

  • Even with non-linear loads (computer loads with crest factor up to 3:1);
  • High short-circuit current on bypass ;
  • High overload capacity: 150% per inverter (even in the event of a mains failure);
  • Filtered, stabilised and reliable voltage: ON LINE double conversion technology (VFI compliant with EN62040-3) with filters to suppress atmospheric disturbances;
  • Power factor correction: UPS input power factor close to 1 and sinusoidal current absorption.
  • Batteries replaceable by the user, without the need to stop the appliance and without interrupting the charge (Hot Swap);
  • Autonomy can be extended indefinitely using battery cabinets;
  • The batteries do not intervene in the event of a mains failure <20 ms (high waiting time) or if the input power supply is between 184 V and 276 V.
