Master HP UL

‘ZERO IMPACT SOURCE'

The Master HP UL series also offers the advantages of the ‘Zero Impact Source’ formula, provided by the IGBT rectifier.
This eliminates the problems associated with installation in networks with low supply capacity, where the UPS is supplied by a generator set or where there are compatibility problems with loads generating current harmonics.
The UL Master MHT Series UPS have zero impact on the power supply, whether supplied by mains or generator:

  • Input current distortion <3% ;
  • Input power factor of 0.99 ;
  • Power walk-in function to ensure smooth rectifier start-up;
  • Start-up delay function to restart the rectifiers when the mains is restored if there are several UPSs in the system.

This saves on installation costs thanks to :

  • Reduced electrical infrastructure;
  • Smaller circuit protection devices;
  • Less wiring.

BATTERY CARE SYSTEM: MAXIMUM BATTERY CARE

The Master HP UL series uses a range of features designed to prolong battery life and reduce battery usage, such as different recharging methods, protection against total discharge, current limitation and voltage compensation according to ambient temperature.

FLEXIBILITY

Master HP UL is suitable for any type of application, from IT to the most demanding industrial and process environments. With several operational configurations including ON LINE, ECO, SMART ACTIVE, STANDBY, frequency converter and voltage regulation. Thanks to the wide range of accessories and options, complex configurations and architectures can be created to guarantee maximum power availability, with the option of adding a new UPS without interrupting on-site operations.

MAIN CHARACTERISTICS

  • Compact dimensions: e.g. only 2,330 square inches for the Master HP UL 500 kVA ;
  • Reduced weight for the transformer-based UPS;
  • Double load protection, electronic and galvanic, to the battery.

The entire Master HP UL range is suitable for a wide variety of applications. The Master HP can supply any type of load, e.g. servers, controls, lighting, capacitive, switching mode. Reliability and availability of power for critical applications are guaranteed by distributed parallel configurations of up to 8 units, for redundant (N+1) or power parallel configurations.

ADVANCED MONITORING

HP Master Series UPS have a graphical display providing UPS data, measurements, status updates and alarms in different languages, with waveform display, including voltage/current. It also provides kWh readings, enabling IT loads to be measured and the PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness) of a data centre to be calculated.
