Sinuselec works with Delta Electronics APF and PQC harmonic filters:
The Delta PQC Series APF is connected in parallel with non-linear loads and uses a set of current transformers (CTs) to detect the load current. It calculates the harmonic current of each order using FFT algorithms in its DSP microchips, then generates a compensation current of the same magnitude but with phase angles opposite to the detected harmonic current, thus cancelling out the original load harmonics. The PQC Series APF not only eliminates the harmonic current on the load side, but also attenuates the harmonic voltage caused by the harmonic currents. The APF system can also improve the power factor (PF) and correct load imbalances in the electrical network.
The Delta PQC series power quality solution consists of an active power filter (APF) and a static VAR generator (SVG). Both offer an active compensation solution based on power electronics technology.Compared with conventional passive compensation solutions such as capacitor banks, an active compensation solution improves the reliability and quality of the power distribution system.
Features of the Delta Power Quality solution :
The Delta PQC APF and SVG series can normally operate between -10 and 55°C, which is suitable for most applications.
Delta PQC series APF and SVG can withstand severe harmonic voltage distortion, they can operate normally in conditions where THDu (total harmonic voltage distortion) can reach 15%.
